Frequently Asked Questions About Our Aeroponic Towers
In our towers, you can grow almost anything, except root vegetables.
Our reservoir lid is very strong and can hold over 150lbs.
Screw on caps hold the net pots and your plants in place so they won’t lean or fall out. You aren’t limited to just growing herbs and lettuce in our towers.
Grow peppers, cherry tomatoes, bok choy, cucumbers, beans, and of course herbs and lettuce too!
With our strong, durable, and customizable, modular hydroponic towers, you can grow the food you enjoy.
Yes! Our hydroponic towers are completely modular so you can add or remove plant modules as your needs change. If you want to start with a small tower and add more modules later, it’s easy to do!
Maintenance can be as little as 10-15 minutes a week.
The reservoir at the bottom of the tower, holds the nutrient solution and houses the water pump. When the tower is hooked up and the water pump is powered on, the nutrient solution will move through the center tube, into the water distributor, and rain down nutrient solution on the roots of each plant.
The reservoir lid has openings with caps that make it easy to check the water and nutrient levels of your tower.
Aeroponics is actually a “sub-sector” of hydroponics, but the two are often seen as two competing fields. Both have similar principles, however:
- Both hydroponics and aeroponics do not use soil to grow plants.
- Both use a nutrient solution (nutrients solved in water) to feed the plants.
- Both use mechanisms (often pumps) to bring the nutrient solution to the roots of the plants.
However there is one key difference between the two:
Hydroponics brings the nutrient solution (water mixed with nutrients) to the roots of the plants, while aeroponics sprays droplets of the solution onto the roots of the plants.
You can use any seeds you already have or buy from the store. You don’t need to waste money on specialty seed pods with our aeroponic tower.
Our towers are manufactured in Montreal, Canada.
We recommend running the water pump on your aeroponic tower for 15 minutes on, then 45 minutes off when growing indoors.
Outdoors, in the middle of summer, you could run it longer at 30 minutes on and 30 minute off intervals.
Our aeroponic towers come with almost everything you need to get started but, there are still a few things you should buy for successful harvests.
- Timer for the water pump
- Nutrients
- Seeds
- Grow sponges or Rockwool
- PH & EC tester.
We recommend changing the water out every month or 2. This will help keep the water clean and prevent nutrient buildup.
This will depend on the type of vegetables you’re growing and the stage of growth they’re at. We recommend feeding your plants when the nutrient solution in the reservoir is running low.
All of our towers are manufactured using PETG.
PETG is non-toxic, BPA free, food-safe, and often used in food containers and beverage bottles.
Available on Amazon, hydroponic websites, and local garden stores.
Yes. You can use these towers indoors or out!
